About Weidong 简介

It is Dr. Weidong Lee. I’m a P.R.China lawyer who provides legal service for financial, industrial, manufacturing, and commercial clients. Over the years, I have represented many world renowned companies, such as China Development Bank, China Bank, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, China Motion International Co., China East Asset Management Co., China Eagle Securities, DaimlerChrysler AG, CS Airline. I enjoy close working relationships with our clients and with numerous Chinese government agencies and departments. My close relationships keep us abreast with my clients’ needs and with the most recent developments in Chinese law and policies.

I graduated in 1990 from Nanjing University with a B.S. in GeoChemistry and in 1992 from same University with a LLB Degree. In 1993, I was awarded the Lawyer’s License by Department of Justice, People’s Republic of China. In 1998, I was an exchange LLM student studying at Washington College of Law, American University. I obtained my Ph.D in Law from City University of Hong Kong in 2004. I’m currently a partner the firm of L & W, Attorney at Law whose principal office is in Shenzhen, China.

My blog is a personal blog. My law firm is not connected with it and I am entirely to blame for their shortcomings. I want to provide a forum where I can comment from time to time on the law and other issues that interest me, and may be of interest to others. Occasionally, posts may be made by one of my friends or colleagues. Please read both my comment policy and my disclaimers, links to which are posted on the home page of each blog. I hate to include such things, but, after all, I’m a lawyer, so I just can’t help myself. I’m here to have fun, and maybe, occasionally, educate someone.
